The Basics
Element is the Senior High ministry of Savannah Christian Church. We exist to be an element of change in our community, leading students to a life-changing connection with Jesus Christ. There are lots of ways for you to get involved. Look around– there’s something for you here!
Saturday Element
Our Saturday night service time is 7:45-9:00 p.m., and doors open at 7:00 for you to hang out in the LINK or grab something from the cafe. This service gives high school students a place to worship, laugh, and learn with their friends. It’s a great place to invite someone who has never been to Element before.
Small Groups
Small groups meet on Wednesdays from 6:45 – 8:00 p.m. Groups are divided up based on grade and gender, and each group has 8-10 students and 2 adult leaders. Each group meets either at the Henderson Campus of SCC or in a host home. Rides are available to and from some homes. If you would like a ride, meet under the big oak tree at the main building and bring a signed bus permission form with you. The bus leaves at 6:15 and returns at 8:20. Weekend Services
During the Savannah Christian weekend worship services, students are encouraged to worship at one main service (sit with either parents or Element group) and serve during one service. To see a list of serving opportunities, click here. Call our office at 629-4767 to get plugged into one of these roles.
Life Hurts, God Heals
“Life Hurts, God Heals” helps students in middle and high school who have suffered pain or addiction including drinking, cutting, pornography, eating disorders, troubled family dynamics, etc. This ministry for students will meet every Monday evening at the Link at 7p.m. For more information about this ministry or LifeChange Christian Counseling, click here.
Meal Info
Each meal costs $3.75 and includes a main item, chips, and a drink. The main item will alternate weekly between 2 slices of pizza and a Chick-Fil-A sandwich. To order your meal, fill in your full name and the number of meals you would like below, then click “continue.” After reviewing your order on the next page, click “send results.” Please note: orders must be placed by Friday at 4 pm. At that time we will place the order based on the number of meals submitted to us.
